Accessibility statement generator

Write an accessibility statement for your website in a few minutes. Free, and nothing you type leaves your browser.

Your statement

Published in the statement. A shared inbox works best.

How well does your site meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA?

One per line, for example “Older PDF newsletters aren't accessible. Email us for a copy in another format.” A free scan shows what to list.

For example “We checked the main pages with a keyboard and the NVDA screen reader in October 2026.”

Who people can complain to if they aren't happy with your reply, such as your country's enforcement body. Leave it empty if it doesn't apply.

Publishing your statement

  1. Create a new page on your website, called “Accessibility statement” or “Accessibility”.
  2. Paste in the statement. Most website builders have an “HTML” or “Embed code” block for this.
  3. Link to it from the footer of every page, so people can find it from anywhere.
  4. Review it at least once a year, and whenever you fix a known problem.

A statement based on real test results

A statement is only as good as the testing behind it. Alleviator checks every page of your site against WCAG 2.2. On paid plans, it fills in your statement's known problems and testing from your latest scan, so it changes as you fix things, and adds a draft conformance report in the VPAT® format and a dated history of your work.
